Karlsruhe played host to the biennial IT Trans conference where Galileo For Mobility was presented to a packed house of transport, tech and industry professionals on March 7.
IT Trans gave Marti Jofre, the coordinator of Galileo For Mobility, an excellent opportunity to communicate the objectives of the project to a relevant audience of experts from all sectors and modes of transport. Interoperability was the keyword for this market update session and Jofre paid particular attention to how Galileo can be exploited for new mobility services.
Coordinators from four Horizon 2020 projects, including IMOVE, GOF4R and My-TRAC, alongside Galileo4Mobility were present at the event. UITP project manager, Guido di Pasquale said of the meeting: “Many projects and initiatives are developing platforms and enablers for interoperability and MaaS, it is time they speak to each other to create synergies for customers’ benefit and business sustainability.” Here’s hoping that collaborative events like these will become a key feature of the project moving forward.
